Cuckoo clocks made by Hekas in Germany - Black Forest clock manufacturer
The complete name of Hekas is "Uhrenfabrik Helmut Kammerer". The Black Forest clock company was founded in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer and proudly looks back to 70 years of success and experience. Tradition and perfection characterize every cuckoo clock that leaves the Hekas workshop. Since 1981 Rolf Kammerer is in charge of the cuckoo clock company and since 1998 he is supported by Uwe Kammerer. Uwe Kammerer is already the 3rd generation of family members working for the company. Before he entered the company he has experienced a very comprehensive education. He has been educated as a wood mechanic and as a toolmaker for several years and then went on to the famous clockmaker school in Furtwangen (Black Forest). This will enable Hekas to keep the quality of cuckoo clocks at the peak and create innovations also.
As one of few manufacturers, Hekas covers the complete range of Black Forest Clocks. From the souvenir clock to the premium cuckoo clock the customers can order a wide range of products. Hekas has its own cabinetmaking workshop that produces the clock cases and the blanks for handcarvings. All the handcarvings are solely done by skilled and experienced craftsmen because quality is always the most important goal for Hekas. An intensive quality control is done with every clock before it leaves the company and all clocks run at least 12 hours as a trial. Hekas has a very good international reputation and export cuckoo clocks to 40 countries worldwide.
